Kayden Kelly

Managing Director

As the founder and President of Blast Advanced Media, Kayden provides leadership and technical oversight to the entire Blast team. Kayden oversees all projects while helping to insure the highest levels of usability, attention to detail, site optimization and maintaining communication with clients to insure that their needs are met on schedule and within budget. Especially important is Kayden's contribution in the project initiation process where he provides the planning and guidance required to produce technically and strategically sound web-based solutions based on a strong understanding of the client's goals. Bringing a strong background of production experience in web based technologies and marketing, he focuses on identifying the most cost-effective way to achieve the client's objective via web based marketing, branding, content management, e-commerce, and/or custom programming.

Ken Colborn

Engineering Director

Ken has recently added ASP.NET to his arsenal and is utilizing it to create even more effective products and solutions for our clients. He is our resident ColdFusion Master and if he had any extra time we are sure he'd have written a book on it by now. He was integrating Flash interfaces and ColdFusion back-ends to create powerful web applications long before Macromedia simplified this process with their current MX software releases. Ken is our go to guy for all of our web and CD-ROM based e-learning projects, as well as most of our database driven web sites.

Ken graduated from California State University, Hayward with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art with a concentration in Multimedia. Ken also attended Los Positas College for his General Education and Brigham Young University for Art.

Sean Singleton

Creative Director

Sean's experience in print, creative and interactive design began almost 12 years ago. He studied Art at DeAnza College and is an incredibly knowledgeable and experienced graphic artist with an extensive background in print, multimedia, web, typography and advertising. He has been with Blast Advanced Media since 2001 and has helped it grow into one of Sacramento's leading web development firms.

He concepts and designs original web sites and print collateral pieces and oversees other designers and producers in design implementation. It's never an issue of what his tastes are or his own agenda, it's about what will make a difference for the client. Sean constantly pushes himself to grow in industry knowledge and skill. His involvement in all phases of the production stage has played an enormously important role in the quality work that we have produced.

Dianna Osborne

Accounting Manager

Dianna has been providing accounting and bookkeeping services for 30 years and in that time has managed the books and given financial advice for tech companies and many small businesses. Prior to working with Blast Advanced Media, Dianna managed and ran an Internet Services Provider Company. She is a certified Graphologist, Reiki Master, Touch For Health Certified, EFT Advanced Certified, a Minister, and Counselor. She is also an avid gardener and photographer.

Joe Christopher

Web Developer

Joe recently moved back to the Sacramento area after spending a few years in Monterey heading up a successful web development and IT support consultancy. With a strong background in PHP, ColdFusion, MySQL/MSSQL, and standards-compliant coding, he brings extensive and technically sound experience to the Blast Advanced Media team.

Joe graduated from California State University, Sacramento in 2005 with a degree in Digital Multimedia. Always striving to learn more and enhance his skillset, you will probably find him at Borders reading technical books in his free time. Outside of books, Joe enjoys tennis, racquetball, skiing, the gym, movies, and trying new restaurants.

Travis Martin

Software Engineer

Travis comes to us from San Francisco's financial district where his background included developing online and offline interactive weather and flight planning applications for a large Japanese weather company.Ê There he worked with several major airlines directly gathering software requirements and working through the entire software lifecycle.Ê Travis has brought to our team a wealth of languages and techniques from seven years of experience as an engineer in the software industry.

Travis graduated from California State University, Chico with a Computer Information Systems degree. He continues to advance his skill set by taking on even more varied and challenging projects and staying alert to ever changing technology trends. Outside of the office Travis can be found off-the-beaten-path backcountry skiing, mountain biking, and just about anything else that gets the blood flowing.

Charles Davis

Business Development

Charles is an entrepreneur at heart and seeks to understand the most important details of the business of each client for Blast Advanced Media.Ê With a background in enterprise level software systems, an understanding of the software lifecycle, and having started and operated a successful small business Charles seeks to connect the business needs of each client with the skills of our diverse team to provide the maximum effect on the revenue and profitability of each client. Charles' areas of special interest are project design, project management, and developing strategic partnerships.

Kelly Diaz

Web Designer

Kelly Diaz graduated cum laude from California State University, Sacramento in May of 2005, where she majored in graphic design and minored in being a wiseguy. She has been designing websites in one form or another since she was 14, and never stopped to think that one day the mere hobby would later evolve into a full-time career. The Adobe Suite, Macromedia Studio, Wacom tablet, and humble sketchbook are all her weapons of choice. Kelly's ultimate career goal is to be a master of interactive design and all-encompassing Flash guru.

In addition to designing websites, Kelly also has experience in designing promotional web material for independent musicians, creating promotional video slides for the Sacramento RiverCats, being a webmaster for a college spirit group, illustration and storyboarding. One time, she even proctored an SAT for a room full of high school seniors.

In her spare time, Kelly enjoys playing a multitude of instruments, traveling, buying books like they're going out of style, attending as many concerts as her allowance will afford, creating nonsensical illustrations, and moonlighting as a ninja (much to the dismay of her friends and family).

Alexandra Tran

Web Designer

Alexandra has always had an affinity for all things digital. Since cutting her teeth on her family's first computer loaded with Photoshop 4.0, Alexandra has honed her skills in web and graphic design and become truly passionate about being the best at her craft. She spent two years interning with a high profile Sacramento web development agency before packing up her talents to join Blast Advanced Media in 2006. Alexandra graduated in 2006 from CSU Sacramento with a degree in Digital Media. She is exceptionally swift and well versed in CSS, ColdFusion, web development, production and design.

Amy Jackson

Administrative Assistant

Amy graduated from California State University, Sacramento in 2005 with a B.A. in Digital Media Communications with a concentration in Digital Video. Currently working on her ProTools Certification for Audio Engineering and a Sign Language Interpreting Certification, she has plenty of things to keep her busy. AmyÕs career goals are to work in the field of Digital Media, preferably with Audio Recording and learning to create websites. In her little, but spare time Amy likes to play alto saxophone, teach piano, read modern fictional novels, knit, and go on outdoor adventures such as camping, kayaking, and hiking.

She has a rather charming boyfriend, two dogs, a cat, and an affinity for cheese.

Jonathan Hasson

Design Intern

Jonathan is our talented Designer in Training who has joined the team to learn the ins and outs of the design world according to Blast while supporting our design team with day-to-day tasks. He possesses exceptional illustration skills and has a great sense of the use of design & color.
